The LK Short Film Festival in state level is an initiative of LK Foundation designed to support and celebrate the art of short filmmaking. To ensure a smooth and fair selection process, all films submitted to the LK Short Film
Festival must meet the following criteria:
The short film must not exceed 10 minutes (including credits).
Open to all themes and genres. No restrictions on subject matter.
Accepted.
Films can be in any language but must include English subtitles if not in Malayalam.
The film must be original work and free from copyright violations.
The festival is exclusively open to filmmakers from Kerala.

Recognizes outstanding directorial vision,execution, and storytelling techniques
Awarded to the most exceptional performance by an actor in a leading role.
