The LK Film Festival is a division of the LK Foundation, a dedicated trust established in 2003 and headquartered in New Delhi. Through this foundation’s strong legacy of excellence, the festival is built on credibility, passion, and a deep commitment to creative empowerment. Over the years, the LK Foundation has supported various educational and artistic initiatives, strengthening its presence in promoting meaningful cinema across India.
As one of the leading independent short film festivals in India, LKIFF provides equal opportunities for both new voices and experienced creators. The 2025 Short Film Festival has been successfully completed, marking a strong milestone in our journey. The 2nd edition in 2026 was even bigger, expanding to a Pan-India level and receiving 1500+ short film submissions from across the country.
Both editions have set new benchmarks in participation, quality, and audience engagement.
