State Level is committed to supporting the growth of
Kerala’s film industry. The festival welcomes submissions
from filmmakers across the state, embracing a variety of
storytelling techniques, genres, and artistic expressions.
From compelling dramas and socially relevant narratives to
experimental cinema and commercial films, the festival
offers a diverse cinematic experience that highlights the
richness of storytelling in Malayalam cinema. More than just
a screening event, it is a hub for filmmakers, producers,
distributors, and cinema enthusiasts to connect, collaborate,
and celebrate the power of feature films.
To maintain a fair selection process, all entries to the LK Feature Film Festival – State Level must meet the following criteria:
Films must be at least 60 minutes and not exceed 3 hours (including credits).
Open to all themes, genres, and styles of storytelling.
Films must be in Malayalam. Non-Malayalam films must include Malayalam or English subtitles.
Submissions must be original and free from copyright infringements.
Open exclusively to filmmakers from Kerala.
