2ND LK INTERNATION FILM FESTIVAL

The LK International Short Film Festival (LKISFF) 2026 was held on 28 April 2026 at the Gokulam Convention Centre, Kochi. As a Pan-Indian international film festival, it brought together filmmakers, critics, and cinema enthusiasts from across the country and abroad, celebrating excellence in short filmmaking. The festival featured curated film screenings, keynote sessions, and interactive engagements, creating a vibrant platform for cinematic exchange and creative expression.
 

Opening Ceremony

The festival commenced with a formal opening ceremony inaugurated by Philip Cheah, renowned film critic from Singapore. The session began with a welcome address by Rajesh Puthanpurayil, Festival Director, setting the tone for the proceedings and outlining the vision of the festival.
 

Closing Ceremony

The festival concluded with a grand closing ceremony graced by eminent filmmaker Adoor Gopalakrishnan. The session marked the successful culmination of the festival, celebrating outstanding contributions to cinema and acknowledging the participation of filmmakers from diverse backgrounds.
